The WordPress Beginner course is a practical two-day introduction designed to help you create and manage a fully functional website from the ground up. Whether you’re a small-business owner, marketer, or creative professional, this course provides the hands-on experience you need to confidently bring your ideas online without any coding experience.

You’ll start by learning how to install and configure WordPress, navigate the Dashboard, and adjust essential settings to suit your goals. From there, you’ll explore how to create and manage pages, posts, menus, and media, giving you the building blocks of a complete website. You’ll also learn to choose and customise a theme, ensuring your site looks professional and reflects your brand identity.

Throughout the course, you’ll work with essential plugins to extend functionality and improve your site’s performance. We’ll also introduce basic search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques to help your site appear higher on Google and attract more visitors.

Delivered in small groups at our Canary Wharf training centre or live online, this course combines instructor-led demonstrations with guided practical exercises. By the end of the two days, you’ll have built your own website and gained the confidence to manage, update, and grow it effectively.
